Auditions
The show must go on - but it only if there's someone to go on stage!
We'll gather up all the open audition info we can from local theatres and other performing troupes in Reading and share them on this page. And maybe you'll get your shot in the spotlight!
Twyford Drama Auditions
Twyford Drama’s January pantomime, The Little Mermaid, is the perfect way to chase away the January blues. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, a pantomime that’s packed with music, dancing, snappy jokes, dastardly deeds, daring rescues and the usual pantomime mayhem.
The Little Mermaid is packed with characters. There’s the little mermaid, Ariel, herself, of course. With the help of her many fishy friends, including Thermidor the blushing lobster, Persil her larger-than-life sister (and panto dame) and her mother Queen Neptuna, Ariel must swim free of the tentacles of her wicked Aunt Octavia and rescue her Prince. Ariel transforms from an impulsive princess mermaid, who swims against the tide, into an intrepid and resplendent heroine, worthy of becoming queen.
Audition dates: 13 & 15 October at Loddon Hall, Twyford, from 8pm. If you are aged 16+ come and give a go.
